Meet Our Professional Doctors
Victor M. Peña, M.D. is a board certified family physician. He was born and raised in Cuba. Dr. Peña moved to Texas at the age of 17 and continued his studies in pre - medicine at the University of Texas Pan American. He received his medical degree from Ross University School of medicine and completed his specialty training at West Kendall Baptist Hospital - FIU family medicine residency in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Peña is passionate about preventive, evidence-based medical care. He believes in providing affordable medical care to the community, and has international experience after doing multiple medical health expeditions to Haiti and northern India, where he provided medical care to underserved villages, Buddhist monasteries, and Indo-Tibetan orphanages in the Himalayan Mountains.
After years of practicing as a hospitalist in the acute care settings, he adopted the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model to apply his belief that a fundamental element of primary medical care is to build a long lasting, trusting relationship with all his patients. Through the DPC model, he dedicates himself to help his patients adopt a healthy lifestyle while being available whenever is needed.
